So it was for the Apostles of Christ in the first century Roman Empire, and so it is in America today! There is tremendous spiritual hunger ~ so much so that people are seeking for Truth in all the wrong places (Oprah Winfrey's New Age course on miracles with Eckart Tolar (sp?), in spiritualism (consulting mediums, their horoscopes, et.al.), UFO's, Wicca (witchcraft and the worship of the earth), etc.

This is a golden opportunity for evangelism. Jesus said that we are the salt of the earth and the light of the world (Matt. 5). The darker it gets in America, the brighter should we shine! Look for every opportunity to share the Good News of the Kingdom and the Love of God, and watch Him open the doors for us to do just that! Praise Him!
